Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have announced their separation after 18 years of marriage and five children together. The shocking news was confirmed by McDermott on his Instagram account on Saturday, June 17, 2023.

In a heartfelt statement, the Canadian actor wrote that he and Spelling have decided to “go our separate ways and start a new journey of our own”. He added that they will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love their children through this difficult time. The split comes after months of speculation about the state of their relationship, which has been plagued by rumors of infidelity, financial troubles, and marital strife.
